Welcome to The Grandeur Estate – a special and unique Heritage Venue and a Luxury Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of Greensburg, Pennsylvania (close proximity to Pittsburgh). The mansion was originally built in 1905 for Thomas Lynch, a famed coal magnate. The Estate is spread over 2.5 acres and has ample parking space.

The Estate comprises of the Promenade, the Mansion, and the Carriage House. The Estate is also the original home of the famous stained-glass Tiffany Window which is on display at The Westmoreland museum of American Art. (Read more about Our History)

The Promenade provides picturesque space and manicured grounds to relax and hold outdoor events.

The Mansion provides 30,000 sq. ft of historic architecture and finishes. The original Mahogany woodwork imported from Belgium was installed throughout the house. Many of the walls are covered with brown leather. The entryway ceiling has fretted plaster embedded with an intricate design. The parlors are massive and the fireplaces have elaborate metal coverings.

The Estate has recently been very carefully restored and upgraded. All updates have been done keeping in mind the unique ambience of the original Mansion and enriching the place with several luxurious enhancements.

We are committed to providing our guests with a luxurious and memorable experience. The Mansion now offers 17 luxury suites for overnight stay with Premium furnishings and Upscale bathrooms with top of the line finishes and Italian tiles. Our rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. 

We offer a variety of amenities, including breakfast and an exclusive lounge “The Residency” for our overnight guests.

The Mansion also offers a variety of event spaces, including a ballroom “The Premiere” and multiple parlors like The Presidential Entrance Hall, The Congressional Meeting Room, The Diplomat Reception Room, The State Dining Room and The Excellency Drawing Room which can be used individually or in conjunction with others to hold small or large events.

The Carriage House also has various living and multi-purpose spaces.

We are located in the heart of Greensburg, Pennsylvania and are a part of the Laurel Highlands. We are within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and several attractions like the Palace Theatre and Westmoreland Museum of American Art to name a few. The Grandeur Estate is also very close to several activities like Hiking, Fishing, Hunting and Skiing to name a few. The “Live! Casino” is also only 2.5 miles away. The variety of year-round activities makes the Estate a unique and special Seasons Four destination.
